After planning and coordinating my nieces wedding three years ago, I got the

bug for everything weddings. It was so much fun to hunt for just the right item,

to match colors, to help her choose the flowers, menu, and décor. My sister and I

started attending bridal shows to get ideas and to stay caught up on the new

trends in weddings. We viewed wedding venues and got advice from them as to

the pros and cons of hosting a wedding. I spent all that time looking for just the

right setting to build, until I finally found this thirty five acres of beautiful farm

land just outside of Russell Springs on KY East Hwy 80. Not too far from town or

the Cumberland Parkway. I could just picture the barn, the bride and groom and

all their family and friends enjoying that special day here!

The Barn at Goose Creek is sitting on a beautiful field, surrounded by trees to

give you privacy for your special event. The property has an abundance of

wildlife that adds to the peacefulness of the venue. The two story barn is Amish

built and has many features that will make your wedding run smoothly. It can be

used for the ceremony and reception or just the reception.

The Barn at Goose Creek offers a secluded upstairs bridal suite with a private

bath, separate shower and old fashion claw foot tub. It also has a mini kitchen

with fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and sink.

​

The Barn at Goose Creek offers a gentleman’s quarters located just off the wrap

around back porch with a private bath, mini kitchen with fridge, microwave,

Keurig coffee maker, sink, pool table, card table, and big screen tv. It will be a

retreat for the groom and his groomsmen to hang out, relax, play games, or

watch the big screen before the event.

The Barn at Goose Creek has handicapped accessible restrooms for ladies and

gentlemen.

We have a no smoking policy inside the building, however we have provided a

specific area for smoking located under one of our covered porches. Please be

respectful of this policy.

The venue is very spacious and includes covered porches, buffet area, smoking

area, indoor or outdoor dance area, and catering kitchen. Also, The Barn Salon

has all the amenities for your stylist. Or you can schedule appointments with our

exclusive stylist, Katlyn Knifley. She is an expert wedding party stylist and will

create the look you want.

For additional fee you can book our preferred wedding planner and coordinator,

Ms. Diana. She knows all the ins and outs of the venue and preferred vendors to

build the brides and grooms dream wedding. Or you are welcome to bring your

own.
